Weekend Oil Painting Workshop - October 2025
Two day small-group workshop covering the fundamentals of oil painting, including how to use solvents and mediums, colour mixing and techniques and application of paint.
Saturday and Sunday 11th/12th October, 10am-4pm each day in Shona’s studio on Aboyne Castle Estate.

Five week oil painting short course, covering the fundamentals of oil painting. Suitable for beginners.
Tuesdays 9.30 - 11.30am, from 2nd Dec - 13th Jan (break for Christmas).
Intro to Oil Painting (Beginner Level) - December
One-day workshop covering the fundamentals of oil painting, including how to use solvents and mediums, colour mixing and techniques and application of paint. Suitable for beginners.
Saturday December 6th, 10am-4pm.
Oil Painting Short Course (Intermediate Level)
Six week oil painting short course for improvers, suitable for people with some experience of painting oils.
Mondays 7 - 9pm, from 12th Jan - 16th Feb

Two-day workshop covering the fundamentals of landscape painting in oil, based at Badaguish Outdoor Centre near Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park.
