Shona Cammack is a contemporary landscape artist who lives and works in the North East of Scotland. She paints the mountains, lochs, coastlines and wild places of the Scottish landscape.

Shona paints in oils, collecting inspiration for her paintings from her own adventures hill walking, camping and cycling around Scotland. She works outdoors on location where possible, creating smaller mixed media studies on paper which she uses to create larger oil paintings back in the studio.

So lovely to be in my studio this week, working on colour studies, playing, experimenting and figuring things out. Quiet morning today before the @northeastopenstudios visitors arrived this afternoon so I managed to start work on a larger canvas too.
